Our commitment
ShineCRM is built for people who run real businesses, and that means everyone: keyboard-only users, screen-reader users, people with low vision, and people who prefer reduced motion. We want every customer, and every customer of our customers, to be able to quote, schedule, invoice, view, and pay without barriers.
The standard we build to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (opens in new tab) at Level AA across this website, the ShineCRM operator dashboard, and the customer portal. In practice that includes:
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface colors that meet WCAG contrast minimums.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Proper headings, landmarks, and form labels for assistive technology.
- Respect for the reduced-motion preference on every animation.
- Status changes (totals, errors, confirmations) announced to screen readers, not just shown visually.
Known limitations
We review the product regularly and fix accessibility issues as we find them. Areas we are aware of:
- The drawn-signature option in the customer portal requires a pointer. A fully keyboard-accessible typed-signature option is always available and is the default.
- Some embedded third-party content (for example payment pages hosted by Stripe) is governed by that provider's own accessibility practices.
Tell us if something is in your way
If any part of ShineCRM is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know and we will fix it or provide the information you need another way. Email sean@shinecx.com with the page or feature and the assistive technology you were using, if any. We respond within 5 business days.
